Seems to me office 2003 is not compatible with office 2k

We have been having alot of problems with office 2003. It
does very wierd things to graphics (displays them
backwards or all garbled)and fonts from word 2000 and
powerPoint 2000. Does anyone know why, or what to do
about it????

I installed the MSO-full file patch that was supposed to
resolve the problem(i think) but it hasnt. Graphics and
fonts still display wierdly.
