We are using One Note as a course management tool. Using a data projector
and One Note on a Tablet PC, we deliver the course to a class of students.
If there is something on the screen that we wish to draw the student's
attention to, we would normally point to it with the mouse cursor, but if we
have pen selected in One Note, all we see is a small dot. Is there a way to
customize the small dot into a pen pointer or similar cursor so that the
students can see the instructor's pen motion?
For example, an instructor can draw a diagram or math equation in One Note
and project the screen image to the board at the front of the room. The
instructor then wants the class to focus in on one part of the diagram. On a
blackboard, the instructor would physically point to the section on the
board. How can a similar attention-grabbing technique occur within One Note?
It's not always appropriate to circle or highlight a portion of the display.
A selectable cursor to replace the small dot would work, but we cannot find
the way to do this. Is it possible?
