Selectable Report Fields ?

Is it possible to make a report have selectable criteria/fields ? I have a
marketing database that has many fields and to amke reports for all of them
is very time consuming, is there a way i can make the report ask what to
include. I have age groups 18-24 , 25-35 etc regions ppl live in , what shop
they visited, male/female and so on. Any Ideas or am i living in a dream
world :/ Thanks for any input.

There is a complete ad-hoc/query by form applet available at

This solution allows users to select fields, set sorting and criteria etc.
The results are a couple clicks away from sending to print, Excel, csv, etc.
