Selected communication device does not exist

Whenever I try to access my pop3 eMail using Entourage 2004 with a dialup
connection I get the above error message from Internet Connect. It works
fine via ethernet (both wired and wireless). The weird thing is that all my
other internet apps (like Safari) work fine with the dial-up connection
running

Any ideas?

I have the same issue, but a slightly different error message... Mine says
"Could not open the communication device". It works fine with any hi-speed
lan connections, wired or wireless. But not with a dial up connection. And
this has only happened since I switched to MS Office (Entourage) 2004. it
worked ok in Office X.
