Selected file not valid visual studio file

I have been working on two visual studio VB solutions that I created with the
Infopath toolkit. These were working fine on Friday and now I get a message
saying : "The selected file is not a valid Visual Studio solution file".

I did three things on Friday, I uninstalled and reinstalled Visual Studio 6
as I had been having problems with the webbrowser control and I installed the
latest version of IE7 from the microsoft downloads website. When I left work
I closed the computer down and allowed it to update itself with the latest
windows updates.

I think performing one of these tasks has messed up my infopath solution but
I don't know how to go about starting to resolve it.

Does anyone have any ideas please?
