Hello,

Is it possible to find out if an object(s) is/are selected when your addins
is clicked on ta toolbar. What about part object such as a word inside a
line of text, etc

Sorry about. I'll try again.

1) I go to a OneNote page
2) I highlight some text on the page (or graphics or drawing)
3) I then Click my Addin icon on the tool bar

In my addin can I find out what text (or graphics or drawing) is highlighted

You'll want to check the Selected attribute is == "all" Keep in mind the
relationship between the outlines and the outline elements.

I suggest using OMSpy to get a feel for how to tell what is selected.

Thanks for trying to clarify!

Still I can not really get what you are after :-( :-(

Are you possibly talking on creating your own Add-in?
