Selecting a form from a list

I currenly have this in an open form query:
=[Forms]![Maintenance]![lstMaintenace]

to open a form from a list. i have a similar function for opening reports
which works fine, but it wont work for the forms. can someone help?

You seem to be mixing terms.

Post the SQL of the query that work and also the one that does not. Tell us
what happens for the one that does not.
