How do I select alterntating cells eg A2, A4, A6 to A2998, A3000
selecting every individual one without doing it manually 1 by 1 using
the CTRL and clicking on them!

Thanks

One way would be to choose a new temporary column (e.g. B) and enter the
following formula in the first cell:

=MOD(ROW(),2)=0

Fill the formula down to the last entry in the list.

Then click Data / Filter / Autofilter and filter for TRUE in the temporary
column.

1. Insert a column to the right of column A.
2. Type an x in cell B2
3. Select cells B2:B3
4. Double-click the fill handle (the small black square at the
bottom right of the selection
5. Select cell B2, and choose Data>Filter>AutoFilter
6. From the dropdown list in cell B1, select the x
7. Select the visible cells in column A
8. Choose Edit>Copy and only the visible cells will be copied

You can delete column B when you're finished with it.
