selecting cells with specific text

Hi - I need to know if there is a way to select certain
cells within an excel spreadsheet that contain specific
text.
Is there a way to do this besides the edit: find function?

Filtering (auto or advanced) and macros come to mind - what method
is best depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
