Selecting contacts between 2 points keyboard shortcut

How do I select all the files between 2 highlighted points useing a keyboard
key and mouse?
I did have the formula but have forgotten

Clicking on one item, then holding Shift while you click on another will
select all the items between the two end points. Holding Ctrl while clicking
will add just the items you click to the selection.

Thanks Brian, it all comes back to me know. I will record the data this time
as my old memory needs defragging I think
