selecting contacts

Is there a quick way (or a field) that I can do/create
that will allow me to filter out the contacts that I want
for certain jobs. For instance, when I import my contact
list into Stamps.com to do my postage I may only want to
import certain ones. Does anyone know of a way to do
this?

Easiest way is simply to create separate Contact Folders. Then you can
direct imports to the Folder of your choice.
An alternative is to make use of categories, but you cannot designate a
category during an import.
