Selecting Data Range

I have recently changed from Office 97 to Office 2002, and
I've noticed that when updating a data range in a chart, I
can no longer use my shift, control, and arrow keys to
select the rangein the worksheet. Is there any way to fix
this?

The only resolution is to curse, swear, and otherwise belittle the person
that decided to eliminate this functionality. Sorry to be the bearer
of bad tidings.
