Selecting/Deselecting Records - how to control

With the Record Selector visible to the left of each record.

I can select a bunch of records using the Shift key method but I cannot
deselect individual records (from my selected bunch) using the Control key.

Is it possible?

Only contiguous records can be selected or deselected using the interface.
If you add a bound checkbox to your table/form, you can run code against all
the checked boxes, then run code to deselect them when you are done.
