selecting individual addresses to put into one group

I need to email a group of people. How do I put all their separate addresses
under one category so I can email them all at once?

Assuming the people you want to send to are in your Contacts.

File > New > Distribution list > Select Members > Highlight the ones you
want and click on Members > OK

Then you can open a new email and click on To and select the new
distribution list
