Selecting Outlook Profile from Desktop Icon

I'm using Outlook 2002 with SP3 installed. I've been told by Microsoft support that I can't have 2 hotmail accounts in the same Outlook profile so I've generated 2 profiles, one for each of our hotmail accounts. When I double click the Outlook desktop icon or click on the Shortcut Bar Outlook icon I get a window requesting me to select from the 2 existing profiles

I remember some time ago there was something available so that you could right-click the Outlook icon and select the profile you wanted. It may have been in Outlook 95 or 97 and it was available from Microsoft

Does anyone know if there is a way to do this for Outlook 2002

Thanks

The best way to accomplish your objective would be to create two different shortcuts for Outlook, each with a command-line switch to use a specific profile.

<path>\outlook.exe /Profile <profilename>

You must enclose the profilename in quotation marks if it include spaces
