Selecting Text Help

I have had Word 2007 on my computer for over a year now with no problems. For
some reason when I opened up Word today I could type in the document and
select things in the toolbar with my mouse, but when I use my mouse to click
inside the body of my document, It does not work at all. Have I accidently
'selected' a feature that blocks me from using my mouse and clicking in the
body of my text?

No, you haven't selected anything. This is a symptom of damage to a registry
entry, which could have been caused by a Microsoft update or some random glitch.
