Selective install?

I have W98 and would like to install only Word and
possibly Excel from an Office 2000 premium disk onto the
kids PC. When I select only those components, it installs
everything anyway. How do I select only those portions to
install?

Well your method is correct, you choose the Custom install and then modify
it clearing all the bits that you don't want/need. It does work.
