selective numbering and bullets

I am trying to create a list with bullets, but I do not
want the heading included in the bullets. The heading is
on the same line as the first bullet, and I want the
bullets to start to the right of the heading. Here is an
example with dashes for the bullets. Can anyone help me?

Heading: - first sentence
- Second sentence
- Third sentence
- Fourth sentence

try putting the info in a table and making the lines
invisible. good luck.

No tables, columns, hidden fonts, or text boxes necessary.

Use a bullet from the symbols collection instead.

* Type in the heading.

* Insert > Symbol. Find and insert a bullet that matches the rest of
your bullets. There are scads to choose from. If necessary, adjust
the font size so the bullet is an exact match.
