Selectively download e-mail from web to Entourage?

Is there a way to set Entourage so that it downloads web or server
mail only up to a certain date and not further? I only want to archive
a small fraction of my web mail on my HD.
I'm using Entourage 2004 on an Intel Mac running OS 10.4.1. Thanks
in advance for any thoughts.
