selling user license

I want to sell my office 2007 standard user license/cd/serial number, because
I want to buy a more advanced version of office. I have already installed
and activated my copy of office and now I want to unregister and sell it. How
do I do this legally?

Registration is optional, there is no 'unregister' process.
If its a retail installation, simply uninstall & sell the cd together with
its certificate / installation code

Hi Kristof,

One thing you may want to consider as an alternative is that the Office 2007 standard qualifies you to purchase an Office 2007
upgrade package for a different ('more advanced') edition of Office 2007 rather than a 'full package priced' product edition

i'm a student and the upgrade from standard to pro would cost me more than
the full academic pro version. $325 vs. $189 respectively. unless, there is
a student version for upgrade.
