Send and receive button lost in outlook 2003

I recently removed my outlook 2007 trial, and re-installed outlook 2003.
However, the send/receive button is now missing and I'm no longer able to
view any of my email accounts. I'v tried deleteing all the accounts ad then
adding them back in - but the programme just seems to ignore them. They are
there when I go to change an existing email account, but do not appear in the
personal folders list - and I still have no way of sending and receiving
emails.

Can anyone help?

Yep- tried new profile and copying existing - both didn't work. The new
profile option wouldn't let me create a new data file - unknown error
occurred! No data file means the new profile wouldn't work. I'm guessing it's
something to do with the role back from outlook 2007 to 2003...

I too got fed up of using Office 2007 and in particular Outlook 2007 with
BCM. BCM I'loved but I couldn't get Outlook 2007 to consistantly work. I gave
up & rolled back to Outlook 2003. I can't believe that MS has abandoned
clients as badly as they have done with sh**ty performance of Outlook 2007.
An email client that can't support more than 500mgs is ridiculous in this day
and age. I am still furious and need to be able to send emails. This has
become beyond a bad joke.

I think the OP means msg-files.

And if he means "megs" (the word some people use for "megabytes"), the answer
is still "all versions of Outlook support much more than that".
