send and receive delay

please excuse me if this question is asinine... i am a hotmail user. i
very reluctantly purchased entourage 2004 for this reason. when i
schedule to receive my e-mail every minute or so there is a message
saying that "as recommended by hotmail, repeating schedules only
connect after a minimum of 30 minutes" this does not suit my purposes.
i need almost constant updates on my mail status...is there any way to
work around this? any scipts, etc?? or do i finally need to dump my
hotmail account?

This limit is set by Hotmail to limit the impact on it's servers. I don't
know if a script would allow you to bypass it - probably!

Try saving this one line script in the 'Entourage Script Menu Items' folder.
And set a repeating schedule to run it every 10 minutes or so:

tell application "Microsoft Entourage" to connect to Hotmail account 1
