Send as attachment in Visio 2007 and Outlook 2003

The issue I'm seeing is that in Visio 2007 if I click Send as Attachment from
the file menu it throws an error:
" "Microsoft Outlook: Either there is no default mail client or the current
mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft
Outlook and set it as the default mail client"

I have managed to replicate this on another PC (other than the users).
Also, I have already updated Office 2003 to SP3 but this did not solve the
issue.
Any ideas or pointer

Possibly because it was at o2007 that the visio viewer was included in
Outlook, it might be a version issue.

Al.

Are you saying there is a comaptibility issue between Vssio 2007 and Outlook
2003?

If yes whats the fix, aprt form upgrading ??

Thanks

I don't know if I would say 'compatibility', rather it is not unusual for
features to be brought out for one level of another product and the other
products not being regressed to support them (I.e features in o2007 that are
not in o2003, example the fluent command bar).
You can always save the drawing as a discrete file and attach it to your
Outlook message as you would do with any other file.
