Send as attachment-- Must click send more than once

[skeptical]

Has anyone run into an issue where a person chooses send as attachment
(from word or excel) and once they have finished creating the email,
the must click the Send button multiple times?
This is random and does not occur each time and sometimes more than
one copy of the email is sent to the recipient. This is in an outlook
and exchange server environment.

Any info is appreciated.

If you press send multiple times, would you not expect to have multiple
copies sent? Will waiting (especially for large attachments) to send
alleviate the situation?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
