Hi
When users in our environment have to send email as the shared mailbox we
always ask them to expose the From: field and manually enter the shared email
address so it does not show as the user's personal email address after user
added the shared mailbox to their own Outlook profile.
However, I have a user that claims that his Outlook was setup where when he
reply to an email that is in the shared mailbox inbox, the From: field is
automatically populated with the shared mailbox's email address instead of
his personal email address. He also claimed that we broke this behaviour
after we migrated his account to another forrest. Is this even possible? For
the longest time I just beleive that this cannot be done natively and
requires some type of third-party plug-in.
thanks,
