Send button missing after email account setup

After installing Outlook 2003 (Office 2003 Pro), new messages will not
display Send button. Email accounts were set up, then deleted and re-setup.
All settings verfied. Ctrl-Enter does work to send message, but Send button
and Menu options are not available.

Sounds like you have a corrupt profile. Does the TEst Account Settings
option work?

I was able to get a Send button on my Toolbar by right-clicking the Toolbar
and selecting Standard. The new Outlook installation set up a Formatting
Toolbar. I found a hint to this solution in a similar discussion (someone
had a missing Send button on their Inbox, not just on New Message Toolbar).
Thanks to the Group, and especially to Miliy. Thumbs down to Microsoft for
not documenting this simple solution to what appears to be a common problem!
