I have created a customized toolbar for print preview mode of reports in an
Access97 app. The command buttons are drawn from the standard set of
command buttons (print, to Word, to Excel, page setup, zoom, etc.).
I have also placed the Send command button so that the report can be sent
via e-mail.
A client is reporting that the send button now delivers the following error:
"App name" cannot start the mail session. Make sure the e-mail program is
installed and working properly.
or words to that effect.
This worked fine on their older machines, but after they upgraded to new
hardware and software (Office 2000 Small Business) , it no longer works on
any machine, although the button provided in Excel2000 works within Excel
(that is, the e-mail session launches).
Can anybody help me with this problem?
