Hi,
Since several years, I've been using the script Send Complex HTML (right
now version 2.0.3) by Paul Berkowitz/Steven Friesen to send out a
newsletter (bulk mail) on a daily basis. It's great.
But today, I sent out another newsletter for a client, the first
edition, and something odd and unpleasant happened; All recipients in
the group were in the "To" field and of course viewable for all other
recipients.
The thing is that I did exactly the same way as I always has done (we're
talking thousands of times), and it's never been like this:
1. Create group, keep recipients there.
2. Create html mail in html editor
3. Create new message, add group to "to" field
4. Select "Send complex html" from the script menu.
5. Send.
I know I perhaps should have added the group to the BCC and the sender
address in the "To" field, but why on earth has this never, ever
happened before? I am completely baffled....
Cheers, and TIA;
Jonny
