send email as message

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Hi - I'm migrating from pc to Mac.

On the pc microsoft version of publisher and word there is an option to send my created page as an email (not as an attachment but actually in the body of the email). I find this sends really attractive and eye catching emails - newsletters, flyers etc.

On the mac word (2008 version) it only appears to allow me to send an email as an attachment. I'm seriously impressed with my Mac now, but will be disappointed if such a simple but effective facility has been overlooked by them. I'm hoping I'm just missing something simple here and someone will tell me where I am going wrong.

Thanks

That feature automatically becomes available only if Entourage is set as
your default email program.

FWIW, it may *send* what you think it does, but don't bet on how it may be
received. HTML email is very flaky & many people set their email program to
not even display it... In fact, many send it straight to the trash.

Not Me! I think HTML is greatest thing since sliced bread. I can read it
lot better than Plain text. To me Plain text just runs together and
makes difficult to read. Plus using * _ and / to emphasize text is hit
or miss at best. I end up putting quote marks around items and people
are probably saying what the h... is that fellow doing.
