Send --> Email Option Not Working Properly

Hi,

When I use Microsoft Word and use the "Send --> Email" option to open up
Outlook to send the document as an attachment, Outlook will hang when hitting
the send button. The message gets sent but in order to stop Outlook, I need
to go to the Task Manager and kill Outlook.

I've searched all over the internet. I've seen some other users with this
same issue but have not been able to find a solution.

The odd thing is that this issue does not appear all the time. When first
turning the computer on, the issue does not occur but after a few hours, I
can reproduce.

I tried doing a repair on Office and ran the Outlook diagnostics but this
still did not fix the issue.

Here is my operating system information and the version information for
Outlook

O/S: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
Office: Microsoft Office 2007 Suite Service Pack 1

Any suggestions would be appreciated and let me know if you need any other
information.

I forgot to mention that it does not matter which size the attachment is.
Outlook still hangs. It can be just a 1 kilobyte Word document.
