I recently added a second mailbox to my Outlook 2003 profile. Is there a way
to set this second mailbox and the default "send from" address for all
messages? I know that I can send messages on behalf of this second mailbox by
typing the user name in the "From:" field, but the vast majority of my
messages will be sent from this second mailbox and it would be very helpful
to set it as the default.
Previously I selected default send from addresses by selecting a default
email account. But now I am working with multiple mailboxes, not multiple
accounts, and Outlook only allows one Exchange account per profile. I was
thinking one possible way to set this second Exchange account as the default
would be to add a POP account to my Outlook accounts list with the second
Exchange user's credentials and then set this as my default account. Does
this sound crazy?
