Outlook 2000 on Windows XP.
When sending "Link by e-mail" action, the email composes
in the message body, "The files are attached and ready to
send" and creates a URL attachment.
The URL address is NOT typed/hyperlinked anywhere
in the message body.
The URL attachment is not accessible either.
Yes, I'm aware i can work around the problem.
Type the URL in the message body or Copy/Paste.
When I'm in IE, I just want hit File-> Send -> Link by
E-mail to compose a message w/ hyperlinked URL address
in the message body like i did when i had Windows 98.
Is there a Preference/Option in the e-mail/browser
settings that i haven't checked?
Is this a Microsoft problem?
Will I have to upgrade to a newer Outlook/IE?
Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.
