I have recently been getting A LOT of e-mails containing the Dumar
virus. The virus is always in a zip called myphoto.zip and i
accompanied by the following text:
Hi! Here is my photo, that you asked for yesterday
I have read it often has other forms but that's the only one I hav
received.
I am sure it is from someone I have mailed recently because the viru
mines e-mail addresses from outlook express DBX files and outlooks mai
files too which i think are PST? Addresses are also gathered from othe
files such as html docs. I am only receiving the e-mails to one addres
which is the one I use to respond to e-mail I receive on other e-mai
addresses. Therefore I believe the person who is infected is someone
have e-mailed recently.
I would like to send out an e-mail to anyone in the receipient field o
all e-mail in my Sent Items folder warning them that they may b
infected and how to go about removing the virus.
My problem is that Outlook (not outlook express) does not allow you t
do this without all the recipients being in your address book. A "Repl
to all" would be ideal except you cannot do this to everyone in
folder. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
If you suspect you have a virus, there is a brilliant tool availabl
from McAfee called AVERT Stinger. This tool detects and removes th
latest 40 or so virus's and best of all, its free. You can download th
latest version here

I would also recommend running Lavasofts Adaware even if you have up t
date anti-virus - you'd be amazed at what it finds. Adware can b
downloaded free here: http://www.lavasoftusa.com
