Each time I create a new message and hit the SEND button, I receive a popup
window that says "Please wait while Microsoftware configures Microsoft Office
Standard 2007" and it appears to be gathering information and possibly
installing something. This will occur 1 3 times right after another when I
hit the send button in a new message.
When I hit the Send/Recieve button or poll mail automatically, if a message
is found on the server to download, again this same window pops up and
gathers information to configure Office 2007 Standard. If there are no
messages to download nothing happens. If there are 50 messages, it will
launch this process for each every message before they are downloaded.
I have uninstalled Office completely, reinstalled all components to be
available, removed all PST files, started with a blank PST file, removed all
email accounts, all rules, and ran the repair function. This is a new
computer running Vista, no other version of Office has ever been installed on
this computer.
If I go to the Help menu and check under Disabled Items, outlvba.dll is
listed here. Do not know if this could be the cause. I would just like to
be able to download 10 mail messages in less than 10 minutes!
I have no problems using Word or Powerpoint or any of the other functions in
Outlook - calendar, to do etc. The problem only appears to occur when
messages ae sent or received.
Any suggestions or ideas on how to resolve this problem?
