Send on Behalf of

We are running Outlook 2002 on an Exchange 2003 server. I have given an
administrative assistant Send on Behalf of privledges in the properties of
her bosses mailbox on the server. I have also given her permission at his
Outlook level to see the mailbox, inbox, calendar, etc. In her Outlook, I
then set it to also open his inbox, etc. so she could have it in her folder
list for easy access.
When she goes into his Inbox and creates a new message, it picks up her
signature line and does not show Send on Behalf of. Do you know why? And,
how I can remedy this so that it shows the Send on Behalf of information?
Thanks much

She needs to display the From field and enter the name of the person she wants to send on behalf of.

Ok - we'll try that. Is there a way to create the message without her
signature line included - other than just removing the data each time? When
she's in his Inbox and clicks on New Message, her signature line is picked up
rather than his. Thanks

Only by turning off her autosignature.

Thanks very much for your help with this, Sue. I didn't think there was a
way to pick up his. I did, however, suggest to her that she create a
signature line for him in her Outlook. Then, when sending on his behalf, she
could remove her informatoin and choose his from the Insert - Signature field
in her Outlook new message.
