Send & Receive All

I was having a problem where I would set my Send & Receive All schedule to receive from both my pop account and my exchange account, but once I ran it the schedule would change the exchange option to the pop option (so that it read as if it would try to receive new mail from POP twice). I read a few forums suggesting that the Send & Receive All did not operate with exchange, so I assume that is why it was kicking exchange out of the schedule and defaulting to POP (a second time).
BUT my question is... how do I get my exchange email to come up in entourage without manually clicking the Send/Receive button. At the moment, I only know new emails have come through because I can here my iPhone receive them.

If you are using an Exchange account online (i.e., through a permanent
connection), you do not need to include Exchange in a Send/Receive schedule.

According to Entourage help:
"Depending on the network, new messages will either be displayed
automatically as they arrive or will be displayed after Entourage completes
a check for new messages on the server once every minute."
