Send/Receive dialog box won't stay gone

I lost yesterday's message from the newsreader about not being able to
keep the Send/Receive progress dialog gone. It's not THAT big of a deal,
but it should work...

Anyway, for the send/receive dialog box that won't stay gone, at 12:58 AM
this morning, Outlook decided to change the value of SyncDlgSuppress from
1 to 0. The stack looks like this, taken from Process Monitor:

Location Address
ntkrnlpa.exe + 0x6a62c 0x8054162c
ADVAPI32.dll + 0xd838 0x77ddd838

This happened at 12:58:38 AM. I swear that just before 1:00 AM this
morning, I was asleep so I didn't change it myself. The only possibly
related thing is that at 1:00 AM (not at 12:58:38) there is a scheduled
task that backs up files (SyncBackSE) and it is supposed to close Outlook
if it is open. I don't know HOW it tries to close Outlook... but it
didn't actually close Outlook this morning. The times don't quite mesh,
though.

Just to be safe, I have disabled that task, and I changed the value of
SyncDlgSuppress back from 0 to 1. We'll see if the value gets changed
again.

I still think it's wrong that Outlook reads the key value 81 times when I
do a send/receive.
