Hi,
I'm new to this sort of thing, so please bear with me. I just need a little
reassurance.
When I first boot up my computer and log on, I run Outlook 2003 to check my
emails. However, the first time I do this, it appears to repeat the 'sending
& receiving' process twice. Let me explain, I have 3 accounts, when the
progress box appears, it shows 6 tasks being performed, 3 sends and 3
receives, THEN it jumps to 12 tasks being performed 6 sends and 6 receives.
Every time therefter, it only performs the usual 6 tasks, however, reboot
the computer and again the first time it does the 12 tasks.
I am concerned that I have a virus or something and my emails are being sent
somewhere, even though my AVG virus checker and MS Anti-spyware say nothing
is wrong.
Please can someone explain what's happening?
Many thanks
