Send/Receive error 0x80042108

Following install of sp-2 for Outlook 2002, I receive error 0x80042108 each time I try to send or receive mail. Webmail works fine, so I think it must be in Outlook 2002. I've diabled NAV, and checked my router MTU settings (from other KB write-ups), and did not fix the problem. In fact I have bypassed the router completely (direct to cable modem) and still the problem persists.

Can anyone tell me the solutions?
