Send/Receive Error

Outlook is constantaly trying to send a message that results in an error.
Yet I do not have any messages in my Outbox. I think the message that is
trying to be sent is in response to a request for acknowledgement of receipt
of an e-mail which I replied yes to a few days ago. Since that time I have
been encopuntering this error. Is there any way to purge the queue of this
type of message? I do not know how to even see what messages (or how many)
of this type might be queued to be sent.
