Does anybody know if MS intends to correct this issue? Outlook 2007 grinds
to a halt during every send/receive process, with every Outlook window
frozen solid until the send/receive is completed. This is apparently a
widely reported issue and has been corrected for Vista users, but not a peep
regarding users of XP.
Interestingly enough, this very problem has "spread" with some Outlook XP
and 2003 users reporting the exact same issue when they never had the
problem before. This was reported shortly after MS was caught updating
files on PCs without permission or notification. (See
<http://www.pcworld.com/businesscent...soft_changes_pc_files_without_permission.html>)
Does anybody know how the problem can be fixed - or, if it can't be fixed on
XP will it be fixed in the future?
