send receive in a continuous loop

Oddly after upgrading to OS 10.3, entourage now automatically goes
into a receiving email continuous loop. It is as if I was
continuously pushing the send receive button. how do I get this to
stop? Thanks

Have you tried using Disk Utility First Aid to repair permissions?
