Send & Receive Number Tasks

I am really lost with something....
I purchased Microsoft Outlook 2007 and have installed it on both profiles on
my computer.
On the main profile - mine- When i hit send and receive it goes through 2
tasks and the green bars does its thing (1 of 2 then 2 of 2 taks have
completed successfully), basically the sending and receiving.
After installing outlook on my wifes profile (approx 3 months after having
it on mine) when i hit the send and receive button it pulls up some weird
numbers for the amount of tasks it's doing? Most of the time it's completing
numbers 6 and 7, then it will go to number 3 and 4 but NEVER 1 and 2 like
mine? All works fine with her email but wondering what this is all about and
how can i get it to be 1 and 2 like mine? Does it need to be reset?

After toying around with my wifes account and hitting send and receive a few
more times, i noticed that just before the status screen closes, whichever 2
numbers is working on that it closes by ending with 2 of 2 completed. It does
a sudden switch to these numbers?
9 out of 10 times, it's completing tasks 6 and 7, but as i contuinue to hit
the s&r it changes to 3 and 4 or 4 and 5 or 6 and 7?

Still trying to figure out why i cant just get 1 and 2 all the time like
mine or what these numbers mean?
