Using Outlook 2002, WinXP, new Sony laptop (unfortunately).
QUESTION: How do we get the "Outlook Send/Receive Progress" window to
open and close automatically when clicking Send/Receive?
It used to work perfectly, but has now stopped opening automatically.
After clicking Send/Receive, I now need to quickly point to the lower
right-hand corner of the OL window and click on "Detail" to get the
progress window to open. In the Progress window, a push-pin icon is in
the lower r-hand corner; clicking it only keeps the window open after
the Send/Receive process has completed, it does not enable the Progress
window to open and close automatically.
I've re-booted several times, and there haven't been any changes to the
system of software on the system. I use a DSL connection with Norton
firewalls and anti-everything.
Can anyone help?
