Send/Receive Settings, Define Send/Receive Groups window not appea

S

slymeat

Hi

I'm using Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Professional.

When I click on Send/Receive Settings>Define Send/Receive Groups menu
option, nothing's happening so I can't actually get into the next window.
I've tried the alternate route of Tools>Options>Mail Setup>Send/Receive
button and nothing happens either.

If I reboot, the "Send/Receive Settings>Define Send/Receive Groups" button
might work once and allow the next window to appear showing the Groups etc
but thereafter, when I click it again, nothing! I'm puzzled!

Any suggestions appreciated.

Have you tried deleting the .srs file? With Outlook closed, delete the file and when you next open Outlook, it will be recreated.

Thanks.

Same way you delete any file. WIndows Explorer (ensure showing hidden files/folders is enabled) you locate the .srs file (use Windows Search) and when found, press delete. All of this should be done with Outlook closed.
