Is it possible to disable automatic S&R?

Coming from an Outlook environment I am used to having it so that it only S&R's when I ping the S&R button.

The advantage for me is that if I write a muppet e-mail I can sit on it, and then do S&R when I feel like.

Currently as soon as I press send it goes, and receives without prompting???

I have gone to 'tools', 'schedules' but that seems to work on specific timing???

Is there no 'manual' way of doing it rather than all this fancy auto stuff?

Cheers, Ben

What you need is the Send Later button. If you don't see it, you can add it
by choosing View > Customize Toolbar (while viewing the message composition
window).

And as JR said, make sure you don't have any schedules enabled at Tools >
Schedules.

Thanks for this tip, I had the unfortunate habit of pressing "Send" instead
of "Attach"!

It's a bit 'after the horse has bolted', but for a while, I had an
'outgoing mail rule' that displayed an alert if the message body
contained 'attached' and attachments was 'none'.

It didn't prevent the mail from going, but at east I was alerted
immediately to the fact that I may have sent a message without its
attachment and I could immediately put I right with a follow-up.
