Send/Recieve Button

[help me in Hilo]

I upgraded my computer from office 2000 to 2003. After the update my outlook
no longer has a send/recieve button nor do my sent messages allow me the
option of resending. I have to hit F9 to get my outlook to retrieve and send
messages.

did you create a new profile? there are so many changes that we recommend a
new profile when you move from really old versions to Outlook 2003 or 2007.

Thank you Diane. I truly appreciate you taking the time to write. I do have
a question...how do I create a new profile? Do I need to know all the email
set up "things" that my system administrator used to initially set up this
computer? Sorry for the technical jargon (like "things")...
