Microsoft Send to OneNote from Outlook (1.0.0.12987)

When I try to send a Note from Outlook 2003 to OneNote 2007, I get the
following error dialog:

Error: Attempting to import invalid XML!

Nothing is inserted into the OneNote Section I selected.

I will take it that compatability between the two is less than guaranteed.
Oh well, I tried.

Yes, I can print to OneNote.

My desire was to sync with Outlook Notes, while maintaining some Category
information... From reading other posts, that doesn't appear to be a feature.

Thanks!

Ben,

I am using Outlook 2003 (11.8010.6568) and OneNote 2003 (11.6554.6568).
Where can I locate the Print to OneNote option or button in Outlook 2003? Is
this option or button context dependant? Should OneNote 2003 be open when
using this feature?

Ben,

if I do File | Print in Outlook 2003, I do not see OneNote listed as an
available printer. There are only printers and the Microsoft Office Document
Image Writer listed.

Hi Carolus,

Remove OneNote 2007, reboot. Then reinstall OneNote 2007, reboot.
Don't forget the reboot steps, they are crucial.

Oops. Then I guess the instructions are to remove and reinstall the
power toy in the education pack.
I need to get new glasses. I could swear I read 2007 in the post..

I wished people would indicate the version number in the subject line.
That would make things a lot easier.

Seems like it!
I might have to get one of those macros as well, but I am wary of using
it. After all, my Outlook is already slow as hell (I use newshound to
get the newsgroups in 2007 B2). Sometimes I have to wait 10-15 mins at
least to be able to do anything again in Outlook while it is churning
away on my hard drive.
