Send to Back, Front ?

I understand send to back and send to front. But what is the diff between
"send to back" and " send backward"? Same for " Bring to front" and "Bring
Forward"?
I am speaking in relation to when you right click an image and choose order.
Are the commands for images or containers ?
Can you wrap text around an image like you can do in Word ?

The difference is just that the level(s).
The second command of both pairs means the background and the foreground
(in case there are several objects/container).

The work for both.

No, this is not possible.
As a workaround one may use a table and insert the image there.

If there are more than 2 things you want to layer, you might want to send
the topmost item either one layer to the back (Send Backward) or all the
way to the bottom (Send to Back). If there are only 2 items, those choices
do the same thing.
