Send To - Email recipient

P

Polyprod

I am running Office XP and recently installed outlook 2003.
I could no longer use [file] - [Send To] - [Email Recipient] to send current
documents as e-mail.
So I uninstalled outlook 2003 and re-installed Outlook XP hoping to bring
this facility back but it didn't work.

I just get the message

"Excel could not start the e-mail program.
"Check your network connection. Make sure Office is istalled correctly,
your e-mail program is set up correctly, and you can connect to your e-mail
server."

Any ideas on how to get this feature working again?

We just upgraded to 2003, and that feature is available, buit as a Custom
Feature. so I went to (in Excel/Word, etc).
Tools
Customzie
Commands and then dragged the "Mail Recipient (as attachment) to the toolbar
and then the feature was available.
Don't know if that is exactly what you were looking for, but it worked for
me.
